It is not hidden from anyone that IG was not in favor of Antonio Maino marriage with Rajiv Gandhi but like any other mother she had to give in
The historical fact is that before 1991, the world was divided in two. CIA and KGB
It is well documented in many books and official KGB documents that Antonio's father was an agent and was jailed.
Antonio was cultivated by KGB and was placed in India to control Indian politics so that India doesn't slip into CIA net. During this time India was under KGB control whereas Pakistan was into the CIA. This was the very reason behind Afgan war for so many years. When USSR via KGB entered Afgan, CIA used Pakistan against it
Don't forget that the then USSR was a communist regime
So when Antonio married Rajiv 25 Feb 1968, the Indian officers at the Cabinet secretariat were worried including IG about leaks and surveillance by KGB
To counter this and to stand on own feet on external intelligence matter Rameshwar Nath Kao along with IG formed R&AW on 21 September 1968 under Cabinet Secretariat and was earlier known as CabSec team of the researcher so that it stays under the radar from KGB
When USSR finally broke down in 1991, the only champion of communist was China and hence Antonio falls into the hand of CIA and later to natural harbor China while playing double cross with CIA
This is the same time CIA had another double cross agent in their books known as Swamy. IG knows Swamy very well hence she maintained a distance from him and called him useful idiot
The intelligence file of Swamy at HMO title is "CIA Agent" this is why he can never be a minister but a good agent to pull down government
Understand this. Swamy always wants to be the only Finance Minister. Why? because FM is one of the most powerful ministry after the office of PMO which has all secrets including funding to agencies, military and covert operations. Once you get hold on to this, you can rule the government no matter how powerful your Prime Minister is. CIA wants control of Government
So you see how Swamy play a divided role and leave no chance to insult the Prime Minister
These are the only reason why I say that Indira Gandhi was a Nationalist Prime Minister before Modi came in
If anyone of you wants proof of what i said, there is no proof and no one will tell you anything on record. These are state secrets
